In March 2016, Advanced Battery Systems, a leader in battery distribution and services, presented to the Southern CA Fire Mechanics Association. ABS presentations focus on battery principles and the different types of battery options available in the industry. Mike Palomera, VP of Sales for Advanced Battery Systems, the parent company of Car Club Batteries, presented to the Southern CA Fire Mechanics Association information on the various manufacturers, their product lines and the new chemistries and technology in the market.
Fire Mechanics and professionals from the Los Angeles Fire Departments, including the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Santa Monica Fire Department, San Gabriel Fire Department, and the Culver City Fire Department attended this event. Other members in attendance were the Ventura Fire Department, Oxnard Fire Department, Orange County Fire Department, Huntington Beach Fire Department, Riverside Fire Department, and the Corona Fire Department.
